Agent M: Project MabusAgent M: Project Mabus by L.M. Vila
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this book for free for a review, I'm not a big Scifi fan and I was wondering what possessed me to sign up for this book so I kept putting off reading it. Not reading it right away was a mistake, trying to lump it in with what I consider Scifi also was a mistake. From the moment you open it you are greeted with the blood-thirsty antagonist. From there, your thrown into one of the wildest rides I've ever experienced. This book was well written, well narrated, and the plot was a nice blend of scifi and crime novel. The author does a very good job of giving you both the intelligence behind the drug company and the M drug, plus the need for action.

My favorite character had to be Meryl. It was great to see such a refreshing take on the female agent role. Most Authors portray female characters as either hard-nosed or bitchy, but Meryl is unique and different you can't help but like her. Michael has his own unique charm too but he's plays dark and mysterious for most of this book. This was such a great read that tickled all of my emotions. Even the ending had me guessing as to what was going to happen next.
