My Tribute to Hot Fiction Everywhere / Third Grave Dead Ahead

So in celebration of a new book coming out in one of my favorite series I thought I would share the new book cover with you and some decidedly hot pictures of what I think Reyes could look like, even if he doesn't who wouldn't want to drool over these hotties any way.

Darynda Jones has and excerpt from her latest book and a whole bunch of other fun stuff you can check out I really liked reading her short stories she has posted that she says no publisher will ever pick up, well poo on them I loved each one of her shorts. Since I will be getting this book sometime after midnight tonight you should be able to check back later tomorrow and see my review of it lol considering I have an addiction problem when it comes to books this shouldn't come as a surprise. I was checking my goal for the year on books and I've already hit 28 books since January it's missing some so I'm going to have to fix that but all this proves is I'm right I have a problem and should probably go to meetings for book addiction, but my luck it would just turn into a book club lmao. So I will leave you with one more pic before I go enjoy.

Book Addiction and No self control

I love to read which is a major understatement, so I set a goal on the Goodreads site just so I'd have some idea of how many books I'm going through in a year and so far I'm at 26 books since January, I'm seriously considering meetings but they would probably just turn into a book club of sorts there by fueling my already horrible addiction to the written word.
On a different subject since I've finally got this blog set up and linked to all my favorite sites I will be posting excerpts soon from a few books I'm writing to see if I can get some much needed feed back. Now I do have a thick skin but please don't rip me a new one I'd take constructive advice or critiques any day but if your horribly rude or just plain mean I can't promise I won't be angry enough to say mean things myself, I have a filter problem so beware lol.
Now I just need to figure out which one of my books to post an excerpt from any go from there, ohhh I have an idea tomorrow I will post what the books are about and see if I can get some feed back on what you guys would like to read and we can go from there. If I get no suggestions I will just randomly pick one or cheat and have my friend Michelle tell me which one she wants lol.

A First Time For Everything

I'm going to be quick I've been reading a lot lately cause well I'm addicted and all but even though I have books to read and review I still picked up a new book yesterday to read for fun and boy did I ever regret that. I've never in my life hated a book so much that I didn't finish it, I'm always curious enough to want to know the endings. I've also never hated a book so much that I've returned it to the store. Well lucky me did both of those things today and I'm a little disappointed, I was so hoping that I had found a new author to add to my addiction a new world to venture through. I posted my review of the book on here so I won't repeat what about the book made me hate it so much you can just go read the review all I'm going to do is tell you the name of the book and recommend you make up your own mind cause if we all liked the same books this would be a boring world.

So I have all these books floating around in my head that I need to finish, plus as the master of procrastination I also have other people's books to finish reading and reviewing. I have gotten further on the reading side of things than the writing which I'm sure is just due to pure laziness its so much easier to get lost inside someone else's book when it's already done, plus I don't have to think about what happens next they've already done that for me. So just like smoking I think once I'm finished with these books I will have to quit reading for a while, this seems like the only way I can get any where on my own writing. I guess just like an alcoholic I need a sponsor who will motivate me to write instead of feeding my book addiction. I wonder do you think they have meetings for someone who reads a 1 or 2 books a day?? Or maybe a 10 step program for the withdrawls one goes through when all there books are taken away :( this is going to be ruff and I can see it getting ugly real fast lmao.  

Hot Hot Fictional Characters yummy

So today I finished a YA book, read some more of Z Strain and I"m actually getting into the story line on this one finally not that it has a bad start I think I just had to many books I was trying to finish at the same time.  Spent some time today discussing the merits of hot fictional hero's, decided to take matters into my own hands and make a slide show out of all the pics I could find depicting fictional hot book men.  This is the hottest thing I've seen in weeks. If these guys don't give you a new appreciation for reading I don't know what will. Who couldn't look at these pictures wonder. Sadly  I know nothing about they guys that posed for these pictures sorry ladies happy reading.

Day 4 Reading, Writing, and going Crazy

So today I though instead of talking about my day I would look some things up online and try to get started on a new book to review since I started the Z Strain by: Rutger Klamor when my battery died on my comp this morn. So far with sharing time with another book and my kids I've made it to page 77 in the one sitting I did get to read it, and thought wow he's really descriptive over the top almost, which I love in my gory books cause I'm just as overly descriptive.  This book does jump around between characters a lot right now so I"m hoping the further in I get the less confusing it will be, the only problem I"m having with this is I have to stop reading and go back a page and see if he tells you whose talking or read ahead faster to see if it gets cleared up.  This is such a bad thing I think there's a lot going on in the start of this book, and you just have to hang on for the ride. I love Zombie movies, but I've only read a couple of Zombie books so far the books fast pace has kept me interested in coming back for more plus he has an unusual story line and I want to know whats going to happen with that.  There was a line on the back of this book that made me pick it out first of the other books I have to read and review, nothing gross about it just very right to the point of the matter and I don't think I've seen the use of the word whores on the back description before. Here's the line tell me would it have grabbed your attention as well?

"Lilith, Queen of the Whores, has three days. That's all the Prophecy will give her. Three days to build an army. Three days to unleash Hell."

I will tell you more as I get further into the book, so far I'm only bummed it wasn't an ebook so I could pack it places easier.

So Many Stories So Little Time

So far I have 7 books to read and do some sort of review on. I'm dragging my feet only because I'm a little addicted to ebooks right now and all of these are in paperback, sounds like a weird thing right a book is a book but my ipod is so much easier to hold and read for hours. 

But really I just need to buckle down and get started on them. To many to pick from and none of them are what I usually like to read  so I just did enee meany and I'm starting the zombie book next. It's called The Z Strain  A Zombie Love Story, by Rutger Klamor. Now I haven't read a book by this author yet so I'm flying blind here, got my fingers crossed here's hoping it's a great novel .  

Spend my day trying to return some birthday presents that I wouldn't use to see if I could add up the money together to get a kindle fire as much as I like ebooks and reading on my ipod it's screen size can cause eye strain and if I raise the font size it just makes the pages down to the size of a paragraph. as irritating as that is I do love that I can read my books on my computer, ipod touch, and my blackberry. This means I get to read anywhere I'am :)  which just rocks. But I would love to be able to do that on a ereader def would make for less eye strain. I have entered in two giveaways that the prize is a kindle fire or an apple ipad 2. The other giveaway is just a kindle fire or a nook color. Now my impatience has made it that I cannot seem to wait for these to end to see if I won considering one is in march and the other is just a few weeks away. I'am posting the info for one of these on my blog feel free to enter and put me down as how you got the information if you win then we both get a kindle ;)

Just started rambling

So I'm new to this blogging you will have to bear with me while I get it all set up the way I want.
Basically I planned to post about my day the good, bad, and the ugly. I'm going to post about my own writing, and what I'm reading. If I get stuck with any of these things I might ask for opinions or help getting over writers block feel free to comment, I won't be holding back on what I say so why should you.
I'm hoping my blog will bring some books you might not have read or heard about to your attention and if not well then just feel free to add your opinions on the books you've read. Hopefully I will have this all sorted out in the next day or two.
