When Copper Suns Fall (Copper Suns, #1)When Copper Suns Fall by KaSonndra Leigh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I fell in love with this story right away. The author's writing is so expressive, it wasn't hard to fall into her world and get wrapped up in the mystery and suspense surrounding Chela. The secondary characters were pretty well flushed out also I'd like to say there were two main characters to this book Chela and Farris, but her two friends (she calls them the Bermuda Three)and some of the other characters were just as involved. This book starts out with Chela breaking one rule after another she seems to be pushed to act out by what's happening with her twin brother. The rule breaking lands her in a sort of reform camp called Minders Camp this sounds like a horrible situation for her to be in but it also teaches her so many things.
I don't want to give away the story so I will just say this is a unique approach to the genre the author has blended a apocalyptic society with the fallen, Chela's world just gets totally turned inside out with the events that take place. It's a wonderfully written YA novel and I would recommend even if you don't like YA that you read this.

"But a person’s spirit sometimes existed long after their physical body was gone. It could haunt your thoughts, sway your decisions, and follow you like a shadow, even if they were invisible."
